Beautiful pics of Tamara Day and Sarah Stiles feet & legs
My child played around in a playpen while I sat for 12 hours cleaning the floors, and taking down the wallpaper. Ha! The home was starting to appear nice, however there were a few things that needed to be left. For furnishing the space would be a huge effort both in both time and funds. It was also going to be a challenge go to my favorite stores. To stay the cost within my means I took my sons along with me as I searched for treasures in estate sales. Our weekly routine that included spending Thursday through Saturday walking around sale houses and garages, shopping for new and used objects. I spent the rest of the week sanding and painting the driveway. Looked a little something like it... This was where my passion for restoring furniture began. I continued to restore furniture long after we furnished our house. There was a spot at the local markets that I could sell my items. Then I bought more that I could decide what to do with and had outgrown the space. The house became a venue in which I held open houses, where up to 1,000 people could view items from my first floor before purchasing them. It was here that my business Growing Days was born. When my business grew and so did our small family. The balance was between the start of a company and being a mother. Growing Days fit perfectly. Nora joined us in 2013 to be our fourth baby. My company was doing well however I needed a break. I took a break from the old furniture in order to spend more quality time with my kids. The time was right. It was only after several months that the phones started to call. Numerous people reached me for help about home improvement or decorating. It was mostly those who visited my residence to buy furniture. Then I slowly took on clients at my own speed. Soon I had multiple customers and was operating a business of home renovations. There is a good chance that I would have laughed if somebody had informed me that my business was going to be the premise of an upcoming tv program in the DIY Network. Indeed, I am laughing slightly when I recall it.
