The kids were in the crib as I was strapped with an infant to my back. Ha! All was beginning to fall into place, but there was still a long way to go. The project would require money, effort, and my favorite shopping to furnish this house. For my budget to remain intact, I went with three of my boys to look for deals at estate sales. Our weekly routine that included spending Friday through Saturday at estate sales and garage sales shopping for new and used things. I then spent the remainder of the week sanding and painting the driveway. Looked a little something like this... This is where my passion for restoration of furniture started. When our home was finished, I didn't want to put it down! There was a place in the market in which I sold my items. In the end, I had numerous pieces that I did not have a clue what to do with them and my storage space was a mess. More than 1000 people came to my home in just one weekend to purchase everything that was on the ground. My business Growing Days began here. My company was flourishing however my family was also growing. In a way, I had found the perfect balance between being a mum and starting my new business. Growing Days seemed like the best fit. Nora my fourth child was born in the year 2013. I adored where my business was heading but I needed a break. I made the decision to take a break to spend time in my home with my children. In the beginning, this was the ideal thing to do. After a few months that my phone began to be ringing. Many people called me to ask for advice about home improvement or decorating. Most of them came into my residence in my open houses for furniture. In the course of my work I added new clients to my list one by one. It wasn't too that long before I was managing multiple clients and ran a profitable home improvement business. When you first told me about your home remodeling business, I laughed. In fact, I laugh a little when I remember the story.
