Jennifer Grey has a career which has spanned nearly 30 years. Grey's work spans over 30 years. Following acclaimed support performances for The Cotton Club, Red Dawn and Ferris Bueller's Day Off alongside Matthew Broderick as Jeannie the jealous, Grey rose to fame with the role of Jeannie as the sibling in this John Hughes comedy. The iconic character she played as Frances Houseman (aka Baby) in Dirty Dancing with Patrick Swayze was the result. Grey received a Golden Globe for Best Actress nomination. Wind, Bloodhounds of Broadway, Bounce, and Red Belt were just a few of the important roles she played. Grey was a part of the cult sitcom It's like You Know, created by Seinfeld producer Peter Mehlman. In addition to The Westside Waltz starring Shirley MacLaine with Liza Minnelli & Kathy Bates as well as HBO's Fallen Angels - A Dime a Dance Cable Ace Nomination for the Best Actress award, she also starred in Murder in Mississippi, playing Rita Shwerner and The Road to Christmas. She is a frequent character in David Milch's HBO show John from Cincinnati. In addition she acted as a guest on Clark Gregg in The New Adventures of Old Christine as well as Friends.
