Emily VanCamp

Emily Irene VanCamp was born in Canada and is an actress who has starred in numerous television series. She also excels in the film industry. Both Canadian and American Television are avid fans of Emily VanCamp. Emily started acting when she was 12 after she had a visit with her elder sister Katie in one of Katie's film productions. When she realized her love for acting she started taking classes in acting and going to auditions. After some commercials, which were successful, she was soon cast in the Canadian children's horror television show Are You afraid of Dark? One scene in which she appeared without speaking any words. She got her first big break at fifteen when she was spotted as a regular in the WB program Glory Days. Although the show was canceled after just nine episodes, Emily's acting attracted the attention of Dawson's Creek writer Greg Berlanti who cast her in his television show Everwood. Emily was an accomplished ballet dancer and also took up photography. Teen listed her as the number one actress in her 20s. The Maxim's Hot 100 List of 2014 ranked Emily at 51.
